President Aquino and AFP chief of staff Oban in common?
The controversial Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has a new chief of staff in the name of LtGen. Eduardo Oban,Jr, a member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class of 1979. He formally took his oath as the Chief of Staff yesterday, March 7, 2011.
Why did PNoy choose Oban to replace LtGen David? Maybe LtGen Oban has a clean records of service in the military. Maybe PNoy has seen Oban as the right man to pursue his anti-corruption campaign in the armed forces, aside from of course the chain of command tradition.
Or maybe PNoy looks at Oban as his look-a-like, with wider forehead and hair line which may reflect a person so devoted to his duty that is so stressful and tedious…
Gen. Oban will serve as chief of staff for only nine months and six days before he reaches his mandatory retirement age of 56. For sure, his hair like PNoy will get lesser hair and wider hair line as he commands an institution pummeled by scandals…
Good luck sa kanya…hahaha.

I fully agree completely.
