hi there! my family and i are also planning to donate a bunch of books that have piled up through the years. we don't want to simply throw them away as there are a lot of people who would still be able to make good use of them. we're also targeting similar people or those in remote areas. do you have any contact details you can refer me to? i'd gladly appreciate it. thanks.

hahaha.. What a stupid argument.

Obviously, you have not learned anything from both your elementary and secondary teachers. What have you been eating lately?

I mean, common man!!

Haven't you read the whole story? It's for us to conform with the international standards. And, it states: education should be at least 15 years.

In terms of the "financial burden" that you were saying, it is actually much cheaper for the parents and students if they take the 5-year program.

Instead of compressing 24 units in one Sem, the new curriculum would allow students around 18 units giving them more time on other things.

According to a study conducted by the government agencies, it is actually the pressure and stress from long hours of studies that cause the students to fail.

Also, students, instead of taking summer classes, can enjoy their time. That's the beauty of spreading the load.

The only thing that's negative (if you would consider it negative) about the program is time. Yes, you have to study for the additional year.

But here is the catch. The last year of the curriculum involves review of the whole course. Meaning, you dont have to enroll to expensive review centers, which in turn saves you money.

I hope that this enlightens you... and please, read the whole article first before making any comments. The only side you know is your side.

t’s not a justified means to force the Government of the Republic of the Philippines in signing the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on Ancestral Domain.

>>>> I just want to say something about this line.. As far as i know the government was about to sign the MOA-AD in singapore. It was stopped because the mayors, governor and congressmen on the affected areas filed temporary restraining order to the signing of the MOA. The fact is that the MOA so-called agreement was done between only in the Administration and MILF. They never informed the affected baranggays to be claimed, they never even submittted surveys, or even consulted the local officials on the areas affected on the agreement... The local officials here in mindanao was surprised when they hear about the agreement, days before the signing.. that is why they immediately filed for a temporary restraining order on the said MOA-AD.

(>>>Earlier, ARMM Vice Governor Vice-Governor Emmanuel Piñol and other officials had protested against the MOA-AD, supported by another petition filed by Zamboanga City Mayor Celso Lobregat and two congressmen.A temporary restraining order was granted by the Supreme Court on Monday before the signing was supposed to take place.)<<<<< Source Philippine Star.

Local officials here in mindanao was never even invited for any meeting or negotiations regarding on MOA-AD. because if they were informed, 100% the signing will never occured.. they will never come-up to such agreements.. Take for example in iligan.. the MILF claims 8 barangays which is 80 percent of its land area.. The mayor and the people in iligan is not that stupid to give 80 percent of its land area.

In my own opinion, the MILF was promised by the government... but since the promise was broken they acted by force...

"There was an agreement bet. the administration and MILF but it was stopped by the local officials here in mindanao."
